Hi, I'm Megan Eatherton.
My love for design started early— I was the kid who rearranged their room every few months, always itching for change. But it wasn’t until after earning my degree in Communication at the University of Colorado that my passion for design truly took off. One summer changed everything.
I attended a program at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, thinking it would be a short-term experience. Instead, it sparked a lifelong fascination with how thoughtful design, materials, and color can completely transform a space—not just visually, but emotionally.

Eager to learn more, I had the privilege of apprenticing under renowned color expert James Martin at The Color People. There, I mastered the nuances of how color interacts with light, architecture, and the environment— knowledge I still use to shape my work today.
With over 20 years of expertise as a color consultant, I’ve been honored as a Chicago’s Finest Painted Ladies award recipient and have contributed multiple pieces to Victorian Homes magazine. As a certified home stager and redesigner and a member of the American Society of Home Stagers and Redesigners, I bring both expertise and a fresh, practical approach to every project.

I firmly believe great design doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag. I’ve helped clients create stunning spaces using creative, budget-conscious solutions. Whether it's selecting the perfect paint color, sourcing stylish yet affordable pieces, or rethinking a space for better flow, my goal is always to help my clients achieve high-end results without exceeding their budget.
Having remodeled homes myself, I know firsthand what’s easy to change and what’s better left untouched. I’ve painted, installed countertops and sinks, replaced toilets, light fixtures and faucets, worked with both peel-and-stick and traditional wallpaper— and more. That hands-on experience allows me to guide my clients toward smart, realistic decisions that save time, money, and frustration.
